My name is Vanessa Churco. My passion for art began when I was just a little girl painting alongside my grandmother, who painted beautiful works of art in oils. It is only natural that I  would pursue painting  and creative art as a hobby. 
   Painting murals became of interest to me as I was adorning the nursery walls of friends and neighbors. The news quickly spread through my community that I was a talented artist and many of my friends asked me to paint murals for them . Seeing the joy that resulted from creating these magical scenes gave me great inspiration,  Therefore, I have turned my hobby into a very sucessful and fufillng business.
    Studying with many accoplished artists and learning the techniques for faux artistry has inspired me to explore many avenues of creative art. 
        My studio, "The Barefoot Studio", is perfectly situated in the basement of our home here in Lawrenceville, Georgia. The name "Barefoot Studio" was an obvious choice for me. Should you see me working, I am almost always barefooted! I just feel more comfortable without shoes. I even paint barefooted in the winter! 
   Most of the work I do is based on referrals . The greatest compliment anyone could give me is a referral! I also work with designers, builders, and the occasional celebrity. Much of my work is showcased in beautifully decorated model homes, high end custom built homes and businesses in the metro Atlanta area.
